  • How does an in-person Reiki session work?

Reiki as perserved by the Japanese culture is based on the belief of the life force energy, existing within and around us. In our bodies, the life force energy flows through a series of channels known as meridians. During an in-person reiki session, I (the practitioner) am attuned to and trained as a vessel for the transference of this healing energy to you (the receiver) by using a combination of hands on and floating hands method.

  • How should I prepare for a Reiki session?

Please gauge your caffeine intake accordingly and please refrain from drinking alcohol and eating hard to digest food the day before. It is important to keep your highest aligned Self in mind at this time and if there are habits you’d like to break, cutting back on these things the day before will allow for a smoother tronsition. Some also cut out meat from their diet for a period of time before their reiki session. If this resonates with you, feel free to do so.
